A Little Survey for Oppo

I’d like to have some Opponauts take my survey about car color choices.

For my current mathematics class I have to conduct a small statistical survey, very basic. My thoughts turned to always helpful Oppo and CL. The survey is 5 questions, 1 with multiple answer options and 4 yes/no and it will only take 5 minutes.

I will reward everyone with a dump of all my HD computer wallpapers, cars and the others (all SFW), in a few days when the project is done and data sorted through. I greatly appreciate anyone takes a little time to do this for me!

i went with my car just sold, since my current car in non-existant. I got a black cuz it was the only one on the lot (and my wife didn;t agree to world rally blue) i didn;t care at the time, but i ended up not liking it. My next car, i think will be an FJ62 which are fairly hard to come by and will end up being the color of what ever pops up. i probably wont like that color either. in fact, i’ve never really been too excited over any of the colors i’ve owned.

Done. I have the confusing combination of colour factoring into my decision and not getting the colour I wanted. Wanted blue, ended up choosing between black and silver, bought black.

Sad that the WRX had to go, maybe you can get another someday if you so desire. An fj62 would be pretty cool, turn it into an overland rig? If you don’t like the color, you can always repaint or wrap.

I was in the exact same boat when I bought the Dart. Wanted blue and had to choose black or silver.

I wanted to get a Regal Turbo/GS or Pontiac G8 but both were out of budget for different reasons, wouldn't have cared about color on those.

Done. There should be a “Maybe” option for “Will color affect your next purchase”, because that’s highly subjective. For example, I have decided I will never own another black car, unless it’s another E28 M5, because that’s the only color I can have it in. If I was shopping for some other car, I’d pick any color but black, so it would factor into my decision in that way.

I heartily disagree. I’ve only crashed White cars, don’t know why or what is up with that but ever since 2000 I refuse to own and (mostly) operate anything white. Thus far: no accidents.

I guess it depends where you live. I went to high school with one of my roommates, who’s from North Carolina. He adamantly refused to use Canadian spellings of words, like “cheque” and “colour”, as an act of protest.

Actually, I’m ashamed to say but I have been lurking for several years now. I just now decided to get around to creating a profile. I am not real familiar with how being gray to start with works but other than that I think I know the rules. I am all for making sure I do right by here though so please feel free to enlighten me!

I was the same way before I started commenting around here. Gray basically means your comments are filtered out until someone responds to you on a specific posts (like now) or you are approved by one of the mods to comment on anything and are checked to be a real person. I can let one of the mods know to link you everything, rules and community guidelines and ungray you for comments.
